So today the ex-prime minister Kevin Rudd popped down to our school for a visit. We had a chat, asking questions of economic nature. It was pretty cool, though him being a politician and all, every time he opened his mouth it was like an essay entering our heads. Very detailed and succinct answers and the class absorbed it in whole.
Took a few photographs with him and also had a video to put on youtube. That was pretty awesome. He also asked us to show him how to dance Gangnam Style, which was funny. Guess that fad is really catching on.
Short post, not much to type about. I did what I usually do, work out in the morning and stuff.
Granted, today there were a few ego-boosting moments. Met a girl on the streets who asked me to sign a petition, she was flirty and happy that I complied. I only signed the petition because it was Amnesty International, in an attempt to stop the weapon manufacturing in Syria to stop the civil war. I support stuff like Amnesty, so I was happy to sign the petition.
The dominoes lady was also a bit flirty, surprised to see that a seventeen year old lives in a house by himself and also uses a savings card. Just small things like that boost my confidence. Because when you don't ever talk to anyone from days on end, you hang on to any communication you get and relish that moment.
WarZ came out today, and it's a complete disappointment. Primarily because it requires Windows Vista / 7 and I have windows XP, so it's time for a new computer! Luckily I already asked an uncle of mine to build me one. It'll be arriving in a few weeks time.
That about wraps it up. I'll be including more material in my blogs once there are more people viewing it, because I don't want to type all the goodies out and have them unheard / unread :(
Cheers and have a good day,
- W
